Since 1969, Susan O’Halloran has worked in education, teaching pre-school through college and adult education. O'Halloran has led workshops in corporate,

religious and non-profit settings and developed curriculum in a variety of formats: books, audio tape, video tape, teleclasses, e-courses, interactive video disc and study guides for students, trainers and seminar leaders.

Susan is the recipient of national and international video awards including the CINDY competition and Awards of Excellence from the U.S. Industrial Film Festival and the Los Angeles Film Advisory Board. She is author of several audiotapes including Growing Up In Chicago and several books including The Woman Who Lost Her Heart and The Woman Who Found Her Voice.

A partial client list for her clients include: 7-UP, IBM, Onan, Dupont, Maytag, DelMonte, Fingerhut, Honeywell, Minnegasco, Chun King, Ore Ida, Control Data, Coca-Cola, John Deere, Arctic Cat, Sperry Univac, GK Technologies, First Bank Systems, Rush Memorial Hospitals, Aetna Life and Casuality, the New Zealand Marketing Board, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, St. James Hospital, Key Corp Banks and the Archdiocese Schools and Parishes of the Chicago area. Susan has led diversity workshops in Fortune 500 companies for the past twenty years as well as taught diversity at Columbia, Wharton, Kellogg and the University of Chicago Graduate Schools of Business with the Kaleidoscope Group.

Sue has produced the live performances and videotaped program of Tribes & Bridges at the Steppenwolf Theatre in which O'Halloran along with professional story artists of African and Cuban backgrounds share their stories. She is creator of the diversity curriculum Kaleidoscope: Valuing Differences and Creating Inclusion. Along with Angels Studio SVD, Susan produces the JustStories Conferences – stories, workshops and panels exploring ethnic identity and racial justice. Her programs have the reputation of being “challenging and non-threatening,”plus “thought-provoking and entertaining.” One company newsletter called her program “a new approach of politics with soul” and “a brilliant synthesis of information.”
